DarSanaa Collective – Fès

DarSanaa Collective, a group of artisans from Fès, wanted to create an online marketplace to sell authentic Moroccan handcrafted products internationally. Despite exceptional craftsmanship, artisans had no online visibility and depended on intermediaries who captured most of the margin. International buyers were wary of counterfeits and international shipping issues. The challenge was twofold: create a trusted platform guaranteeing product authenticity, and establish a reliable logistics chain capable of delivering worldwide from the workshops of the Fès medina.
We designed a multilingual marketplace (French, English, Arabic, Spanish) with a blockchain-based authenticity certification system, where each product receives a traceable digital certificate. An AI recommendation algorithm analyzes buyer preferences to personalize the browsing experience and increase cross-selling. Each artisan has a customized shop with video storytelling showcasing their craftsmanship. Integrated logistics, in partnership with international carriers, provides end-to-end tracking with specialized packaging for fragile items. A multi-currency payment system with automatic conversion simplifies international transactions.
